The Nest

So our baby crib finally arrived, making our nursery finally fit for pictures. Not a lot of talking will be needed for this post, but one of my favorite things about our room (in addition to how freaking cute it is) is how Kate has made a lot of the personal pieces herself. She made the quilt and the curtain in the picture above. She'll add a dust ruffle and letters spelling the babies name (not shown) above the crib before the birth.

She's also responsible for the bird houses and the art hanging above the chair. One thing that isn't new, is our dresser, which was Kate's from when she was little (Kate did update the knobs).


We have the room just about in order. Which is good, since we can try and spend the next few months (actually more like weeks) trying to keep our lives in order.
